Terms of Service

These Terms of Service explain the rules and conditions for using the Linked Background Banner website and ordering custom LinkedIn background banner design services.

Last updated: June 2026

Welcome to Linked Background Banner. By accessing our website, contacting us, requesting a quote, or purchasing a custom LinkedIn background banner design service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the website or placing an order.

1. Overview of Our Services

Linked Background Banner provides custom LinkedIn background banner design services for personal profiles, company pages, promotional campaigns, hiring announcements, service offers, and professional branding. Our services may include design consultation, banner layout, image preparation, revisions, and final LinkedIn-ready files.

2. Use of the Website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to damage its functionality, interfere with security, copy content without permission, submit false information, or use the website in a way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.

3. Project Requests and Client Information

To complete a design project, we may ask you to provide details such as your profession, brand colors, logo, preferred style, message, website, LinkedIn profile URL, company information, and design instructions. You agree to provide accurate information and respond in a timely manner when additional clarification is needed.

You are responsible for ensuring that all materials you provide, including logos, photos, icons, brand assets, text, and references, are owned by you or properly licensed for your use.

4. Orders, Pricing, and Payment

Pricing may vary depending on the selected package, number of banners, design complexity, delivery requirements, revisions, and any custom requests. Any pricing shown on the website is for general guidance and may be updated at any time.

Payment terms will be communicated before work begins. In most cases, design work may begin after payment is received or after both parties agree to the project terms. If third-party payment processors are used, their own terms and policies may also apply.

5. Design Process

Our design process usually includes receiving your project details, preparing the design concept, sending the draft for review, making included revisions, and delivering the final file. The exact process may vary depending on the package or custom agreement.

To avoid delays, you should provide clear instructions at the start of the project. This may include your preferred colors, examples you like, wording, logo files, target audience, and whether the banner is for a personal profile or company page.

6. Revisions

Revision terms depend on the selected package or written agreement. A revision means a reasonable adjustment to the existing design, such as editing text, adjusting colors, changing spacing, replacing an image, or refining layout details.

Revisions do not usually include a complete redesign, a new concept from scratch, major changes to the original instructions, or additional banner versions unless agreed separately. Extra revisions or major changes may require an additional fee.

7. Delivery of Final Files

Final banner files are usually delivered in a LinkedIn-ready image format such as PNG or JPG. Source files may be included only if stated in the package or agreed before the project begins.

Delivery timelines may vary depending on project complexity, communication speed, revision requests, workload, and any additional custom requirements. We aim to deliver work professionally and efficiently, but delivery dates are estimates unless specifically agreed in writing.

8. Client Approval

Once you approve a design or final file, the project may be considered complete. After approval, additional changes, new versions, or changes based on new instructions may be treated as a new revision or a new project, depending on the scope.

9. Refunds and Cancellations

Because custom design work requires time, planning, and creative effort, refunds may not be available once design work has started. If a project is cancelled before work begins, refund eligibility may depend on the payment method, administrative costs, and the agreement made at the time of order.

If you are unhappy with a draft, we encourage you to provide clear feedback so we can make reasonable revisions within the agreed scope. Refund requests, if any, are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

10. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

After full payment is received, you may use the final approved banner design for your LinkedIn profile, LinkedIn company page, or related professional branding purposes. Unless otherwise agreed, unused concepts, draft designs, internal files, and design process materials remain the property of Linked Background Banner.

You may not resell, redistribute, or claim unused draft concepts as your own. If source files are not included in your package, only the final delivered image file is included.

11. Client-Provided Materials

You retain ownership of materials you provide to us, such as logos, brand assets, photos, and text. By submitting these materials, you give us permission to use them for the purpose of completing your requested design project.

You confirm that your submitted materials do not infringe on another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy rights, or other rights. You agree that we are not responsible for legal issues caused by materials you provide.

12. Portfolio Use

We may display completed work as samples, portfolio items, or examples of our design services unless you request otherwise in writing. If your design includes confidential information, sensitive details, or private brand materials, please tell us before or during the project.

13. Website Content

All website content, including text, layouts, design examples, graphics, images, and branding, is provided for general informational and promotional purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or use our website content for commercial purposes without written permission.

14. No Guarantee of Results

A professionally designed LinkedIn banner can improve the visual quality and presentation of your profile, but we do not guarantee specific outcomes such as job offers, leads, sales, profile views, rankings, engagement, or business results. Your results may depend on your overall profile, network, industry, offer, activity, and audience.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Linked Background Banner is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the website, design services, files, or delivered materials. Our liability for any service-related claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

16. Third-Party Platforms

LinkedIn is a third-party platform and is not owned or controlled by us. LinkedIn may change its profile layout, image display rules, banner dimensions, cropping behavior, or platform policies at any time. We design based on generally accepted banner dimensions and best practices at the time of service, but we cannot control future platform changes.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
